Site Lead And Forklift Operator Full-Time
Seattle Boat Company is looking for an energetic, hardworking, eager, and reliable individual to join our marina team as a site lead and forklift operator! This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits.
Compensation: $26.00-$30.00/hour DOE + bonuses
What You'll Be Doing:
- Moving boats in and out storage facilities and warehouses using the Marina Wiggins Bull Forklift
- Offload boat and trailers from transport trucks
- Working with Service, Marina, and Sales Departments to efficiently move boats when requested
- Responsible for onsite audits of inventory
- Organization of site for maximum efficiency
- Overall site cleanliness
- Opportunity for growth in the company
What We're Looking For:
- Required:
- Ability to provide driving abstract and have a valid driving license.
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
- Willingness to obtain Forklift Operator Certification (Seattle Boat will train and certify).
- Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction, learn, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Have a team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule throughout the year, adjust during busy seasons, and working weekends.
- Strong organizational and basic computer skills.
- Strongly Recommended:
- Boating experience - a general love for being on and around the water.
