Summary

Provides oversight and coordinates the group activities and events for Behavioral Health Services.

Responsibilities

Provides individual peer mentoring and/or recovery coaching.

Contributes to new member and renewal member campaigns.

Participates in outreach and aftercare recovery activities..

Complexity of Work: Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Required Work Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of documented related experience in mental health, substance use, or peer support settings. Experience may be fulfilled through paid employment, volunteer service, peer support training programs, or a combination thereof.Equivalent experience in lived experience with demonstrated peer support engagement may be considered.

Other Information: Must include lived experience of recovery from mental health or substance use disorders.Complete WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) training within 6 months of hire.Must obtain the Certified Recovery Peer Specialist (CRPS) designation within 18 months of hire.Automobile Insurance (AUTO INS) - Automobile Insurance (AUTO INS), if applicableBLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE) - 6 months within hire
