Inspector

Essential Duties Perform visual inspection of vehicles; walk around vehicle to inspect for defects, damages, and imperfections. Notate any issues on VCR/CPO and enter data into the JLR system when it becomes available. Inspect functional operations; doors, window locks, seatbelts, steering, compartments, seat covers, emergency releases, keys, etc. Facilitate installments; guides, manuals, warnings, floormats, etc. adhering to CPO. Release vehicles for further service and/or work as needed. Ensure a spotter is present when backing up vehicles. Maintain a safe working environment and follow all policies and procedures regarding safety. Perform other duties as assigned. Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with possible overtime and/or weekend work as needed. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Valid US Driver's License. Obtain and maintain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC Badge) issued by the Department of Homeland Security. Experience operating automatic and straight (manual) shift vehicles. Preferred Qualifications Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must have demonstrated commitment to safety. Must possess problem‑solving abilities and be detail oriented. Physical Working Attributes Work in confined spaces. Work at heights of approximately 15 feet. Lift, push, and or pull up to 20 lbs. Extended periods of standing, kneeling and bending. Exposed to all outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, insects, and other conditions, which may exist from time to time. NOTE This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
