Shifts Available: Day Employment Type: Full Time Hours: 12-hour shift –7:00am to 7:00pm Location: St. Joseph Medical Center- Kansas City, MO Here are some of the benefits of working at Prime Healthcare: Health, dental, and vision insurance options Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Bereavement leave, FMLA and other leave options Employer 401K options Tuition reimbursement options Life, disability, and other insurance options Many other amazing benefits Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to): Deliver high-quality, immediate patient care by utilizing training to administer basic life support, stabilize patients, and respond swiftly to medical emergencies in a fast-paced clinical environment Perform detailed patient assessments to evaluate vital signs, symptoms, and medical history, ensuring timely identification of urgent needs and accurate communication with the healthcare team Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to contribute to an integrated care approach, promoting continuity and efficiency in patient treatment plans Assist in triaging patients upon arrival by assessing the severity of their condition and supporting decisions on prioritization of care based on clinical protocols Maintain precise and thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR), supporting legal compliance and clinical continuity Inspect and manage emergency medical equipment and supplies to ensure optimal functionality, cleanliness, and availability, contributing to a safe and prepared emergency care environment Qualifications Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers.
