Position Overview

We are currently looking for an empathetic and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to join our exceptional team of imaging professionals and deliver outstanding patient care. Utilize advanced ultrasound technology to conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate effectively with a supportive team of clinicians, and provide reassurance to patients through precise and timely imaging.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during examinations, explaining each phase with care and coherence
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment diligently, ensuring any technical issues are reported without delay
• Accurately document all procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical record system
• Stay updated on advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices to enhance patient care

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preferably a graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
