Dispensary Associate - Full Time

Job Title: Dispensary Associate – Full time Department: Retail Reports To: General Manager FLSA Status: Regular Non-Exempt Pay: $14.50 an hour (position is also eligible for tips) Position Summary The Dispensary Associate guides customers through their cannabis journey by educating them about the benefits and potential side effects of products, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Key Duties and Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers. Show empathy and compassion to patients. Deliver the TruExperience through high customer service standards, behaviors, and product knowledge. Assist managers and shift supervisors with returns according to company policy. Prepare and process patient orders efficiently. Follow Trulieve policies and procedures. Collaborate with the leader on duty to enhance the customer experience. Assist customers with product or device issues. Work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues. Document customer issues and concerns on the customer’s profile. Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift. Perform other tasks as assigned by management. May be required to perform additional team tasks as needed. Additional Responsibilities: Delivery Associate (As Needed) Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clear driving record to serve as a delivery driver. Follow all Trulieve policies and procedures as a delivery associate. Additional Responsibilities: Online Support Assist with processing all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe. Skills and Qualifications High‑school diploma or equivalent and experience in a related field. Minimum age of 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV). Prior retail or customer‑service experience preferred. Cash handling experience required. Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Excellent interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication. Capability to work without supervision and as part of a team. Professionalism, business sense, and discretion with confidentiality. Ability to understand written and oral instructions. Respectful and polite interaction with customers and team members. Proficiency in conversational English, operating electronic equipment, safety procedures, and telecommunications devices. Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery driver role. Ability to pass a comprehensive background check. Additional Requirements Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that enable sensory function to meet job demands. Must function independently with flexibility, integrity, and effectiveness with residents, personnel, and support agencies. Must be able to interact with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and occasionally hostile individuals in the facility. Physical Requirements Constantly required to move/traverse the facility, including confined spaces. Frequently manipulate objects up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, crouching, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and using stairs or ladders. Occasionally remain seated. Work Schedule Flexible hours; must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays. Work up to 40 hours per week with potential after‑hours duties as needed.
