Metroplex Mortgage Services is seeking a driven mortgage professional who is interested in building a long-term career and expanding their experience across loan origination, operations, and client support.

This full-time, in-office opportunity is based in our Tampa office and offers hands-on experience with borrower qualification, mortgage applications and documentation, government lending programs, and client communication. Health benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) are provided.

We are open to candidates with backgrounds in mortgage processing, underwriting, loan officer support, loan partnership, title, banking, lending, customer service, or other related financial services roles.

Candidates who have completed the NMLS 20-hour pre-licensing course are encouraged to apply, although current licensing is not required. Applicants with strong mortgage industry experience who are not currently licensed will also be considered.

The position is well suited for someone who wants to strengthen their mortgage knowledge, take on additional responsibility, and gain broader exposure to the lending process.

Based on performance, aptitude, and career goals, successful employees may have the opportunity to advance into roles such as Loan Officer Assistant, Loan Partner, Processing, Production, Underwriting Support, Operations Management, Training, or Leadership.

Expected annual compensation from $40,000 to $60,000 based on experience, performance, and career progression.

• Collaborate with processors, underwriters, and loan officers throughout the mortgage process.
• Assist with collecting, organizing, and reviewing borrower documentation to support timely loan approvals.
• Support loan origination activities and ongoing communication with clients.
• Develop working knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional underwriting guidelines.
• Communicate with borrowers regarding required documentation, loan status, and next steps.
• Assist with borrower qualification and mortgage application review.
• Gain exposure to processing, underwriting, compliance, production, and client relationship management functions.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Experience in mortgage lending, banking, financial services, title, customer service, processing, underwriting, or loan origination preferred.

• Commitment to professional growth and long-term career development.

• Ability to learn mortgage products, lending guidelines, and loan origination systems.

• NMLS licensing or completion of the NMLS 20-hour pre-licensing course is helpful but not required.
