Buy-Side Equity Analyst or Portfolio Manager: Paid User Testing

Mercata is looking for experienced buy‑side equity analysts and portfolio managers for early user testing of our AI‑native Research OS for hedge funds and alternative asset managers. One 30‑minute session is paid for your time, with the option to do additional (also paid) sessions if you find it interesting. NOTE: this is a short user‑testing engagement, not an employment role. The product is built around the day‑to‑day of fundamental equity work: notes, IC memos, and the constant triage of filings, press releases, and headlines. We are looking for people who do that work now, or did until recently. We’d also like to hear how you’re using AI in your research today. If you’re not, that’s fine too – it’s not mandatory. Requirements Current or recent experience as an equity analyst or portfolio manager on the buy side at a hedge fund (long/short) or long‑only asset manager Exceeds 2 years of equity coverage as an investment analyst, research analyst, hedge fund analyst, or fundamental investor (not quant) Experience writing notes, models, theses, and IC memos Understanding of the pain of event triage (news, filings, press releases) Curiosity about new research tools and AI‑assisted workflows Willingness to share constructive feedback on usability, workflow fit, and product value #J-18808-Ljbffr Mercata
