Remote Preference Preference given to candidates based out of Abilene or DFW Metro Areas. Possible 10–20% travel. Job Summary The Talent Acquisition Specialist reports to the Talent Acquisition Manager. This position is responsible for recruiting for field level security roles; placing announcements for openings; working with agencies and other sources of personnel to secure candidates; and following up on leads. Job Duties Monitor requisitions within an ATS and screen and interview applicants. Utilize dashboards and resume searches to assist in sourcing and interviewing. Create profiles on hiring needs for locations in different markets. Assist with recruitment deficits in difficult markets throughout the U.S. Make recommendations to management regarding recruitment improvements needed. Meet with Manager and present analytical findings to improve overall success within Talent Acquisition. Perform additional functions, duties and tasks of a similar nature and scope as may be required by department management to achieve initiatives. Assist with applicant tracking system compliance and functions. Minimum Qualifications Associates degree or 2 years progressively responsible, related experience desired. Equivalent experience in lieu of degree may be considered. Competencies Excellent organizational, problem‑solving and writing skills along with planning and project management skills. Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and persuasively. Proven track record of designing and implementing recruiting strategies to hire professionals. Strong customer service skills desired. Ability to be an effective team member. Self‑directed and capable of meeting multiple deadlines. Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands Maintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff and the public, occasionally under urgency and pressure. Successful passage of background, reference, psychological, and controlled substance tests. Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently. Computer usage. Handling and exposure to sensitive and confidential information. Regular talking and hearing. Frequent sitting, occasional walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds. Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work primarily performed in an office environment.
