Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $17.00 – $21.00 per hourShift:

• 1st Shift: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Pay Rate $17-$19/hr (depending on experience)
• 2nd Shift: Monday to Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:30 AM, Pay Rate $19-$21/hr (depending on experience)

What’s a typical day as LU12 - Production Operator I? You’ll be:

• Performing visual quality checks on stacks of doors as they enter your work area via conveyor.
• Repairing newly and previously identified doors with quality defects using hand tools, glue guns, sanders, putty knives, and other wood craftsmanship tools.
• Restacking doors that meet quality specifications, pushing pallets on the conveyor, and documenting unrepairable doors.
• Operating jump tracks and assisting with the movement of door stacks into the paint booth.
• Communicating with upstream and downstream departments to address and resolve process-oriented defects promptly.
• Working in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on safety and quality.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience in production, assembly, general labor, construction, or landscaping (preferred but not required).
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to identify product defects.
• Are able to read and interpret ticket instructions and specifications.
• Have experience using wood craftsmanship tools such as sanders, planers, putty knives, sanding blocks, and wood chisels.
• Can manually lift, slide, or flip materials up to 80 lbs and are able to stand for long periods with frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and can maintain focus on quality.
• Are comfortable working in mildly controlled environments, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
