Associate Mental Health Clinician

Job Summary A non‑profit employer in Hood River is seeking a registered intern or associate clinician (Clinical Social Worker Associate (CSWA) and/or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA)) to provide trauma‑focused mental health services to youth and families in the Columbia Gorge area. The role involves prevention, comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and delivering individual and group therapy with a supportive team and clinical supervision. Supervision toward licensure is included. The position is part of a collaborative, mission‑driven team committed to National Children’s Alliance accreditation standards at no cost. Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, or a related field. Registered with the Oregon Board (OBLPCT or BLSW) and actively working toward licensure. Familiarity with DSM‑5‑TR diagnoses. Must pass a criminal history background check as required by Oregon ORS181.536 and181.537. Experience working with trauma‑impacted youth and families. Job Duties Provide individual and family therapy using trauma‑informed, evidence‑based approaches. Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop treatment plans. Facilitate and/or co‑lead group sessions. Collaborate with and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings. Maintain timely, HIPAA‑compliant documentation in accordance with state standards. Participate in required clinical supervision toward Oregon licensure. Hours Openings include part‑time and full‑time positions, as well as flexible contracted arrangements.
