Airgas is hiring for an Outside Sales Support Specialist in Nashville, TN!

We are looking for you!

The Outside Sales Support Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the outside sales team, facilitating efficient sales operations and ensuring excellent customer service. This role is crucial for maintaining strong client relationships and contributing to sales growth.

Assist outside sales representatives with preparing proposals, presentations, and sales reports.

Process customer orders, quotes, and returns accurately and in a timely manner.

Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems with accurate account information, sales activities, and communication records.

Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., logistics, customer service, production) to ensure timely delivery and resolution of customer inquiries.

Research and gather market intelligence, competitor information, and customer data to support sales strategies.

Communicate directly with customers to provide order status updates, resolve basic issues, and answer product-related questions.

Schedule appointments and manage calendars for outside sales representatives as needed.

Prepare and distribute sales-related correspondence, marketing materials, and product information.

Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by sales management.

Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Required qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a sales support, administrative support, or customer service role.
• Proficiency in Google Suites.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.

Preferred requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Knowledge of industrial gases, welding equipment, or safety products is a plus.
• Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is highly desirable.
