Responsibilities As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well and bring their power back. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You address the whole patient, treat individuals, restore, reinforce, and enhance physical abilities and independence, adapt to patient needs, collaborate with peers, and refer patients for additional care in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program per AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice. Salary USD $36.00 – $42.00 per hour.
