A houseman is responsible for cleaning public space, assisting room and laundry attendants, assist maintenance staff and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. We offer many great benefits that include annual increases, paid time off, hotel discount, medical, dental, and life insurance.Position RequirementsAs a Houseperson, you would be responsible for delivering clean linens to the guest room attendants in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Clean public space including exteriorDeliver clean linen to guest room attendants and linen closetsCollect and deliver dirty linen to the Laundry departmentCollect trash and recycling from guest room attendant's carts and dispose of properlyDeliver all extra supplies to linen closetsCollect dirty dishware from rooms and supply to food and beverage kitchenEnsure all equipment is in operational order and all supplies are up to parBe familiar with the operating procedures of all other areas of the hotel, cooperating fully and in a friendly manner with those areas to assure customer satisfactionBe a Team Player and encourage the teamwork attitude among staffEnsure areas are free of safety hazards and perform all duties in a safe and efficient mannerAssists in the laundry to wash, dry and fold linens and terry, as neededAssists with cleaning and organizing store room, as neededMoves heavy furniture, as neededCarpet cleaning, as neededGreet guests in a friendly mannerApplicants must be honest, customer-focused, reliable, friendly, and a team player. Must be able to perform duties exceptionally well with little supervision. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with guests and other employees.
