Qualifications and Preferred Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license for the state
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience working with school-aged children or within schools
• Strong assessment, therapy planning, and documentation abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to cultivate positive relationships with students, educators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assess and identify students with speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
• Deliver therapy sessions, both individually and in group settings
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute knowledgeable input to support student success
• Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to promote holistic student development
• Provide education and resources to school personnel and families about speech and language strategies
