Registered Operating Room Nurse (RN) No Weekends, No Holidays and No Call Position Summary The Registered Operating Nurse (RN) is a licensed professional responsible for helping to oversee daily clinical operations in the Operating Room. This role ensures the delivery of safe, effective, and compliant patient care. The Circulating RN serves as a clinical resource, helps manages operating room preparedness, supports quality improvement initiatives, and collaborates with physicians, administration, and other team members to promote optimal outcomes. Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Able to read and communicate in English. Current BLS, ACLS. Experience Minimum of 1 year of operating room clinical nursing experience. Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards, infection control. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Licensure RN licensed by the State of South Carolina. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Help oversee and coordinate the daily activities in the Operating Room. Provide clinical guidance and mentoring to RNs. Oversee Operating Room care processes to maintain compliance with ASC standards and regulatory requirements. Help ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety policies, and emergency preparedness procedures. Support onboarding, orientation, and training. Monitor compliance with The Joint Commission standards. Collaborate with Central Processing, physicians, anesthesia providers, and leadership to resolve issues, improve processes, and enhance patient satisfaction. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
