Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing their history and performing specific assessments to identify their rehabilitation needs.
  • Communicate evaluation results and treatment plans to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting for their recovery journey.
  • Implement treatment regimens based on individualized assessments, patient presentations, and current healthcare best practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and document any changes in patients’ conditions that may require updates to their treatment plans.
  • Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring that documentation of patient interactions is timely, accurate, and reflects the high standards of care we provide.
  • Maintain effective time management while meeting productivity goals and participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
  • Contribute to departmental objectives and ensure compliance with governmental and accreditation standards.
  • Pursue continuing education opportunities actively to enhance personal professional growth and mentorship opportunities for peers and aspiring students.
  • Promote exceptional patient experiences by ensuring flexibility, adaptability, and responsiveness throughout the rehabilitation process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists specialize in the assessment and treatment of patients recovering from various conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. We cater to a wide range of ages and backgrounds, focusing on delivering personalized care that fosters patient engagement and encourages active participation in their recovery. Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
  • Current American Heart Association's BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

  • Two or more years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting.
  • A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment that emphasizes high-quality patient care.
  • Experience with outpatient care models and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) for patient management.
