Role Purpose The Disability Support Worker role at CPA exists to provide high-quality, person-centered support to people with disabilities. Location Hornsby Heights, 61 Montview Role Overview Join the Lifestyles Home and Community team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disability. This rewarding role involves providing one-on-one home and community support to clients aged 18–80, promoting independence and helping them achieve their goals through community engagement and daily living support. This role is based across the North Shore region, requiring travel to our group homes. The position is permanent part time (30 hours per week) and offers day shifts from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Must be available to work Monday – Friday. You will assist with daily living skills, social engagement, and community participation, including personal care (where required), manual handling, medication support (if trained), behaviour support strategies, and 1:1 or small group support. Each day, you will encourage independence, build skills and confidence, promote inclusion, support participant choice, facilitate activities and outings, follow individual support plans, document progress, and work collaboratively with families and allied health professionals.
