Start Date: 08/10/2026

End Date: 11/07/2026

Shift: 10H Days (0630-1500 or 1045-1915)

Hours/week: 40+ hours

Employment Type: Contract (Travel)

Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS (preferred)

Experience: Minimum 2 years OR experience, robotics experience highly preferred

Paid sick time in accordance with laws

Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy OR setting with 13 general-use ORs

Circulate during surgical procedures, may scrub if certified

Assist with robotic surgeries, bariatric, neuro-spine, neuro-vascular, urology, and transplant cases

Support various surgery teams including transplant and neuro teams

Ensure patient safety and comfort through all phases of surgery

Follow hospital policies on schedule, call, and holiday rotations

Document care in Meditech Expanse or similar EMR system

Maintain compliance with EKG competency and other hospital protocols

Valid RN license in Louisiana or eligible state

At least 2 years of OR experience

BLS certification (ACLS and PALS preferred)

Robotics experience (Da Vinci) highly preferred

Ability to pass an EKG competency exam prior to start

Neuro, transplant, or advanced OR specialty experience

Experience with Meditech EMR

Strong teamwork and communication skills
