Provide marketing support for recruiting efforts for professional, staff, and craft construction roles around the world; amplify the culture and value of construction professionals internally and externally; work with partners and clients to communicate the value of construction; and activate craft and staff voices to build BV’s reputation as an employer of choice. Serve as a marketing partner for construction capabilities at Black & Veatch and within the global marketing organization. This role provides hands-on experience across marketing campaigns, working closely with broader marketing team and building marketing expertise. It will report to the Head of Marketing for Power Providers and Construction.Key ResponsibilitiesWork across BV Operations and segments (such as Power), and sub-brands such as BVCI and OCI to implement an integrated marketing plan that enhances the company’s construction brand, differentiates it from competitors, and communicates its value to clients. Manage implementation of marketing strategies and tactics to support construction talent acquisition teams. Collaborate with internal teams to understand construction culture and capabilities, then help articulate construction differentiation and value internally and externally. Support the development of competitive analyses, market research, and proprietary research to understand market trends, competitor positioning, competitive capabilities, and industry marketing campaigns and tactics. Ensure integrity of Black & Veatch, BVCI, and OCI brands across internal and external marketing and communications. Coordinate with functional marketing teams to implement and manage tactical campaign execution. Support client-facing marketing activities, including industry events, association engagement, and coordination with account teams. Work closely with the marketing communications team to develop storytelling programs that elevate the reputation of BV construction internally and externally; amplify the pride of construction teams through the projects and value they create around the world. Plan, schedule, manage, and promote content through owned digital channels, including the website and social media channels in coordination with communications and social media teams. Support digital marketing campaigns, social media, website content, partner marketing, and promotional and marketing communications that contribute to audience engagement and growth. Coordinate public relations and media relations activities between project teams, business leaders, and external communications. Support the creation of onsite project assets, signage, and brand materials. Track, analyze, and report on campaign outcomes. Understand the impact of campaign efforts, recommend adjustments, and help develop and monitor KPIs. Strong track record of managing marketing campaigns day-to-day within a complex and matrixed B2B environment, particularly in a services industry. Thrives in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple campaigns, events, and stakeholders simultaneously. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills; ability to effectively work across diverse teams and geographic locations is a must. Execution-focused mindset, with exceptional attention to detail. Understands the integrated marketing mix to support digital and traditional marketing efforts. Continuously explores new and innovative ways to deliver smarter, more effective campaigns, including with AI. Familiarity with construction processes and operations and/or recruitment marketing. Ability to travel by plane, navigate construction sites, and participate in tradeshows and recruiting events that may require long periods of standing and interacting with constituents.
