Kelly Services is now hiring a Furnace Operator for 2nd shift at a leading manufacturer in New Albany, IN. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring furnaces, ensuring safe and efficient production processes. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong time management and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate and monitor multiple furnaces according to procedures and safety regulations.
2. Build, load, and unload furnaces as required for production.
3. Read and interpret written and oral instructions to prioritize daily tasks.
4. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as needed.
5. Communicate effectively with peers, team leads, and management.
6. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and related equipment.
7. Perform routine cleaning and complete daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of experience with furnace operations, brazing, or heat treating strongly preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work overtime as required.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and databases is preferred.
• Must demonstrate a commitment to working safely at all times.
