Job Summary
Faculty candidate for tenure track or non‑tenure track appointment in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery, focusing on adult heart transplantation. The successful candidate will provide patient care, conduct research, and teach in the Department of Surgery.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical care of adult heart transplant patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop, conduct, and present original research related to cardiothoracic surgery and transplantation.
- Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in surgery and transplantation.
- Participate in departmental service activities and outreach related to cardiac and thoracic surgery.
Qualifications
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.
- Completion of an accredited cardiovascular or thoracic surgery fellowship, or equivalent clinical experience.
- Strong track record of clinical excellence, research, and teaching.
- Demonstrated leadership and professional skills in the field of cardiothoracic surgery.
