(hours/days may vary)What You'll Do:Act as Frontline IT Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring prompt, reliable resolution of employee requests and consistently great support experienceImprove Support Systems and Processes: Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvementManage Vendors and Equipment: Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and maintenance while keeping hardware and software inventories accurate, secure, and standardizedIT Onboarding: Be a key part of the new hire experience from device setup through day-one orientation and training ensuring every employee hits the ground runningHandle Device Lifecycle: Procure, configure, and deploy laptops, monitors, and peripherals; coordinate upgrades, trade-ins, and refresh cycles; and keep devices enrolled in security and MDM toolsMaintain Office Infrastructure: Keep local systems running — WiFi, conferencing gear, printers, and dashboards — and coordinate with vendors or building management as neededAutomate and Document: Implement light automations to reduce manual work, manage software updates and provisioning, and create clear technical guides for employeesSupport Events and Collaboration: Set up and manage AV, video conferencing, and live technical support for all-hands meetings, off-sites, and company eventsOther duties as assignedRequirements/QualificationsMinimum 2yr Degree10+ years' experienceAbility to work independently and with other department supervisorsExperience with accounting software – Sage 100 a plusExperience with Learning Management SystemsExperience with industry specific softwareTechnical knowledge of Microsoft products including: Microsoft Windows both desktop and server, Microsoft Office products, Microsoft 365, and basic Microsoft Active Directory knowledge (add/remove user + basic knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO)iOS & MDM Software ExperienceAbility to negotiate contractsKnowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office suite of applicationsExperience with imaging windows 11 OS.Familiar with basic network concepts (e.g., TCP IP, Windows Networking, Ethernet)On call - Ability and willingness to work extended hours or a modified schedule to support planned activities or emergency situationsStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain professional, empathetic, and solutions-oriented when supporting employees across all levels of the organizationProven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm, methodical, and effective when priorities shift or issues arise unexpectedlyExcellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks among many competing requestsA strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and commitment to providing a seamless employee experienceA proactive, self-motivated mindset with a bias toward action and a passion for identifying opportunities to improve systems and processesResourcefulness and comfort navigating ambiguity, with the ability to independently drive solutions and make sound decisionsExperience working in or supporting end-users in a Desk Side Support role.Aptitude for learningExcellent oral and written communication skillsLocal travel between our locationsValid driver's licenseEOE Fitzmaurice Community Services
