Looking for the ideal candidate
We are in search of a passionate and seasoned Head of Sales who is eager to fully engage in the day-to-day operations. It is essential that the ideal candidate possesses extensive expertise and a strong entrepreneurial mindset in order to effectively lead our sales team. The selected individual will play a key role in devising and executing successful commercial strategies to drive revenue and ensure sustainable growth. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for cultivating and training a high-performing sales team, thereby enhancing our market position and achieving even greater accomplishments.
Responsibilities:
Always strive to accelerate and encourage company's growth and success
Implement new customer acquisition strategies based on companies objectives
Track, measure and analyze commercial metrics (KPIs)
Conduct market research and analysis to create detailed business plans on commercial opportunities (expansion, business development etc.)
Understand the requirements of existing customers to ensure their needs are being met
Act to acquire new customers and manage client relationships (new and existing)
Collaborate with diverse teams (R&D, Production, Procurement, Service etc.)
Create and manage the sales team
Create and maintain price and service policies
Prepare and deliver contracts with customers
Build and maintain profitable partnerships with key stakeholders
Monitor performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management
Assist in setting financial targets, budget development and progress monitoring
Requirements
- Previous working experience as Head of Sales or other relevant role for 5+ years
- Hands on experience in visiting customers and able to traing the sales team
- Ensuring full P&L responsibility and creating reporting and managing budgets
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills in Greek and English language
- Knowledge of German language will be an asset
- Approximately 30% to 50% of the time will be dedicated to travel.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
- BSc/BA or MSc/MA in business administration, finance or similar relevant field
- In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis
- Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes
- Commercial awareness partnered with a strategic mindset
- Excellent organizational time management and leadership skills
