Location: Fort Worth, TX (5x onsite for first 3 weeks, then ramps down to 4, and eventually 3x/week)
Duration: 6 months C2H
IV: Phone and Video
Visa: USC and GC only
Client would like the consultant to be near the Fort Worth area (30ish minutes maximum commute).
Top Skills
- 10+ years of experience working as a SQL DBA (no flexibility on the 10 years of experience)
- 3+ years of Azure Cloud Experience (no flexibility on the 3 years of experience)
- Needs a SQL DBA with Windows experience (VMware & Operating Systems) – Must have VMware, HyperV, or Azure VM experience
- Large environment experience: They have 120 SQL instances and 70 SQL Servers that this person will be working on
- Experience with TSQL, ETL Services, file system expansion, adding drives and space
- Experience adding users in Active Directory in the SQL Database needs to be able to provision IDs
- Must have server-side experience
- Needs someone who's gone through the experience of a project going south and putting in the hours to correct in a short period of time
- DevOps mindset and tools like Git, GoCD/Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform
- Avamar/HYCU (Backup/Restore) expertise a plus
- Proficient in Nutanix administration
- On-call support 1 week every 5 weeks
