This role serves as a technical resource within assigned manufacturing areas, partnering with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to optimize process performance, resolve technical challenges, and support implementation of process improvements and new technologies.Are you interested in joining a strong team delivering outstanding results to our customers? Apply now for this exciting opportunity!Key Responsibilities:Functioning as the primary engineering owner for assigned manufacturing processes, serving as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned process technology.Leading projects to innovate process technology, improve reliability, or increase capacityProviding written and oral reports on process performanceCollaborating with Manufacturing Operations and Maintenance to resolve technical issuesInvestigating and leading corrective actions for product and process nonconformancesActing as a safety champion by training personnel and investigating safety incidentsManaging continuous improvement initiatives in your assigned areaLeading or supporting the implementation of new processes and process modificationsEnsuring compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental requirementsQualifications:A minimum of a bachelor's degree and/or University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or another relevant engineering disciplineMinimum of 1 year of engineering experience in a manufacturing, operations, co-op, internship, or other technical environment, or an Advanced Degree with relevant manufacturing experience.Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Preferred:Experience supporting manufacturing processes, equipment, or continuous improvement initiatives.Familiarity with process validation, equipment qualification, statistical analysis, and root cause investigation methodologies.Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.Experience working in a regulated industry such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.Demonstrated project management or technical leadership experience.Other:May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other locations and sitesJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
