• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday-Friday, 0700-1530; rotating weekends; overnight call 2 days/week 1500-0700

• Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience, at least 1.5 years in Cath Lab, with skills in complex interventions

What You'll Do

• Provide direct patient care in a Cath Lab environment during complex cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Circulate, monitor, and scrub for procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, PCI, and neuro interventions
• Administer vasoactive and sedation medications with critical patient assessment skills
• Utilize hemodynamic monitoring systems and advanced imaging equipment
• Support the team with equipment operation, sterile technique, and emergency response
• Float routinely between facilities, supporting units as needed and performing backup for more complex cases at WKMC North
• Participate in on-the-call rotation, providing overnight support and coverage during weekends and holidays

What You Need
Required:

• Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 3 years RN experience with 1.5+ years in Cath Lab within the last year
• Ability to scrub, monitor, and circulate in cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures
• Experience with vasoactive drugs, hemodynamic monitoring, and complex intervention case types
• Valid driver's license with ability to float between facilities

Preferred:

• NIHSS certification
• Experience with Merge hemodynamic systems and ancillary equipment (IVUS, EKOS, FFR, Laser)
• RCIS certification is a plus but not required

About the Assignment
This traveler will support a busy Cath Lab focused on complex interventions including TAVR, MitraClip, neuro, and structural heart procedures. The role involves floating between Willis Knighton Pierremont and Bossier City, with potential backup cases at WKMC North. The unit is equipped with advanced imaging tools and supportive technology, providing a stimulating environment for experienced cardiovascular professionals.
