Specimen Processor I

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor I in Orlando, FL to prepare clinical specimens for analysis, perform data entry, and route samples in a high-throughput laboratory environment. The role operates on an evening-to-night shift schedule, Monday through Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing according to standard operating procedures
• Unpack, route, and accurately label specimens to respective staging areas
• Perform data entry of patient information in accurate and timely manner
• Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
• Resolve and document problem specimens while maintaining production goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to accurately identify and label biological specimens
• Strong organizational and data entry skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Capacity to lift up to 40 pounds regularly
• Pass standardized color blindness test
• Experience in lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse environment (preferred)
