Position Description:

Property tax consulting firm that works nationwide seeks a full-time Property Tax Director with tax appeal, appraisal or valuation experience to direct our office valuation and administrative teams.

Duties and skills include but are not limited to - manage/direct the valuation and administrative teams; provide guidance with the day-to-day operations of the business; oversee the appeals management database; address human resource matters; establish and maintain client relationships; negotiate value settlements with county and local assessors; participate in hearings as needed; and engage in business development.

Must possess knowledge of various valuation methods of diverse types of commercial properties; excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to think creatively and strategize; the ability to work independently and as a team; the capacity to juggle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines; intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel skills; familiarity with other MS Office and client management software programs; exceptional communication skills; familiarity with cost segregation studies helpful.

Applicants with property tax management experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
