X-Ray Technician
Location Glens Falls, New York
Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Days, 8 hours per shift (8 AM - 4 PM)
Job Description We are seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician with a strong background in imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in operating X-Ray equipment and adhering to safety protocols while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging examinations using X-Ray equipment.
- Prepare and position patients for X-Ray procedures.
- Ensure proper maintenance of imaging equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines for patient care.
- Manage patient records and documentation efficiently.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum 5 years of current X-Ray experience.
- Active New York State license as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT (R)).
- EPIC EMR experience is required.
- Strong preference for experience in Level 1 trauma hospitals.
- Travel experience is a plus.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver's license.
