What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues including air and hydraulic brake systems, steering and suspension components, wheel seals, and related systems.
- Perform vehicle alignments as assigned.
- Build customer trust and increase repeat business by delivering high-quality, timely repairs and honoring service commitments.
- Operate a mobile mechanic truck and perform on-site mechanical services as assigned.
- Safely operate and maintain shop service equipment, including lifts and diagnostic tools.
- Follow all company and industry safety regulations when performing repairs and inspections.
What You Bring:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to clearly explain diagnosed issues.
- Ability to perform mechanical services on Class 48 heavy-duty vehicles.
- Ability to recognize and diagnose early signs of wear that could lead to more significant mechanical issues.
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and diagnostic software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Ability to independently perform mobile mechanic duties as assigned.
