Job Title: Technician II (Production/Repair)

Summary

This position operates in a temperature- and humidity-controlled manufacturing environment. The Technician II is responsible for performing repair, assembly, and production tasks to restore equipment to its original condition and ensure a high-quality finished product.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to complete repair and production processes, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment and component parts.
• Utilize a variety of hand tools to perform repair and assembly tasks.
• Perform technical aspects of the repair, production, and restocking processes.
• Accurately complete required documentation to maintain quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to identify small electronic components and differentiate them by markings.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to visually inspect components for quality, defects, and foreign material.
• Experience handling small parts using both hands and assembling or disassembling components with precision hand tools.
• Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to perform under production demands.
• Good judgment, positive attitude, and a high level of initiative.
• Willingness to learn production, repair, and assembly procedures and interpret basic technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong data accuracy and attention to detail when transcribing information.
• Ability to read and write in English proficiently.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment and meet daily targets.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred experience in mechanical or electrical repair within a manufacturing environment.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs from floor to shoulder and up to 2 lbs overhead.
• Ability to push and pull up to 6 lbs of force.

Work Environment

• Manufacturing environment regulated by strict quality and safety standards.
• Temperature- and humidity-controlled workspace.
• Required use of static-protective equipment, including smocks and grounding wrist straps.
• Works in close proximity to other team members in a production setting.
