Gastroenterology Health & Science Specialist - Columbus, OH

Field-based specialty sales role focused on driving launch and growth of gastroenterology products through strategic customer engagement and compliant relationships. The position partners with specialists and key opinion leaders to execute promotional strategies, support formulary access, and improve patient outcomes across assigned accounts in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Drive customer engagement and sales performance through in-person interactions with healthcare providers
• Build compliant relationships with HCPs and office staff to support product adoption and appropriate use
• Deliver approved promotional and disease-state messaging aligned with treatment guidelines
• Support patient access by providing reimbursement information, hub resources, and co-pay assistance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage digital tools to optimize territory activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or associate's degree with 8+ years work experience, or high school diploma with 10+ years experience
• Minimum 3 years pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device sales, marketing, or aligned healthcare experience
• Valid US driver's license with compliant driving record; no DUI/DWI within past 7 years
• Ability to reside within workable distance of assigned territory and travel to all account locations
• 3–5 years specialty sales experience, preferably in gastroenterology, immunology, or inflammation
• Understanding of complex disease states, biologics, specialty reimbursement, and distribution processes

Compensation: $108,600–$250,700 base annual salary, plus sales incentive bonus
