Travel Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor & Delivery unit, maintaining a 1:1 ratio for active labor patients and 3:1 for couplet care
• Utilize intermediate fetal monitoring and Philips Tracevue equipment to monitor maternal and fetal status
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EHR
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Float to other units within the hospital as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Iowa licensure required
• Minimum 1–2 years of Labor & Delivery experience; travel experience considered in lieu of additional years
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screening including opiates
• Current titers within the last 12 months (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, TB)
• Mandatory Reporter certification (Child and Adult) required prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an OB/GYN or Labor & Delivery setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EHR and Philips Tracevue fetal monitoring systems
• Experience floating to multiple units within a hospital environment
