We build collaborative UI components that are integrated into Adobe’s industry-leading desktop, mobile, and web applications. You will be joining a highly collaborative, fast-moving team, enabling creativity from any device, anywhere in the world.You’ll make important decisions about how we grow and have a say in what we build next. Write performing, reliable and maintainable code implementing test automation scripts and/or frameworks based upon feature requirements and design documentation, be a strong voice for the customer.What you'll do Help the team in delivering web and desktop software on a regular cadence with a high confidence in quality.Review Product Requirement Documentation and Technical Specifications to develop test plans.Suggest, research and implement new automation frameworks to help in areas such as localization, accessibility and mobile.Expand our existing test automation coverage.Collaborate with QE peers, developers, product managers, and designers on new feature development.Help define standard processes across the organization.What you need to succeed Minimum of 5 years of shown experience as an SDET.B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience and understanding.Typescript and/or proficiency with JavaScript.Passion for software quality and bug sleuthing using tools/debuggers to provide information helpful to bug investigation.Ability to build and maintain effective team-wide communication through tools like Slack, Wikis, Jira.Experience writing unit tests and UI tests.Experience in crafting, implementing, and executing test cases and reporting metrics on quality.Mastery in manual exploratory testing of sophisticated software products.Experience with Unix shell, Charles, GitHub, Jenkins.Good knowledge of Basic of computer science fundamentals like, Data Structures / Algorithms.Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.Real passion for building world-class applications that customers love.Bonus ExperienceExperience with Playwright and/or Nightwatch.Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and/or XD.Experience using Splunk and/or Adobe Analytics.SummaryLocation: Seattle; San Francisco; San JoseType: Full time
