CNC Machinist

CNC Machinist A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a CNC Machinist to work first shift from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Duties: Set up, position, load materials, and operate jobs in appropriate CNC Mills and Lathes Machines Manually run lathes, drill presses, milling machines and saws Monitor machines while working to adjust the feed, maintain them and identify issues Load and unload materials of various geometries up to 40 pounds Understand G&M codes, use FANUC Controls, and make minor program edits Review samples, drawings or instruction to understand specifications with GDT Use micrometers and calipers to check parts to the print, take measurements, and mark material for cutting or shaping Understand and complete documents in an ISO setting Follow all company policies and procedures Assist in any area of the plant as instructed by management if needed
