The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic. H1B visa candidates are welcome to apply.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care:Deliver comprehensive outpatient care to a diverse patient population, including preventive care, chronic disease management, and acute care.Perform routine physical exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.Manage a variety of medical conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, respiratory diseases, and more.Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.Collaboration:Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure continuity of care.Refer patients to specialists when necessary and coordinate care across different providers.Quality Improvement:Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and clinic efficiency.Meet or exceed quality benchmarks, with the opportunity to earn quarterly quality bonuses.Documentation & Compliance:Maintain accurate and thorough electronic medical records (EMR) for all patient interactions.Ensure compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and guidelines.Community Involvement:Engage with the local community to promote health and wellness.Participate in outreach programs and events as a representative of the clinic.QualificationsMedical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana (or ability to obtain).H1B visa candidates are encouraged to apply.Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing patient-centered care.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary starting at $235,000, with additional bonuses.$25,000 sign-on bonus.$15,000 relocation assistance to help ease your transition to the Lake Charles area.Quarterly quality bonuses up to $5,000.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.Retirement plan with employer contributions.Generous paid time off and CME allowances.Location: Lake Charles, LA, offers a blend of southern hospitality, cultural richness, and outdoor activities.
