QUALITY TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBLITIES: Perform first and last piece approvals for production to ensure quality Perform required quality inspections (hourly, bi-hourly, active inspection) Conduct gage and fixture studies as required Monitor, support and assist in product escalation, isolation and containment of defective material Create and issue sort and rework instructions to ensure nonconforming product is handled accordingly Perform basic weld destructs & inspections at required intervals Create and issue QC alerts and review with associates and supervisors Create and maintain rework area and ensure work instructions and samples are correct and in place Perform internal sorting activities by daily assignment QUALIFICATIONS: Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word Effective email and electronic communication skills as required, including TEAMS Ability to work with micrometers, calipers, scales, or light machinery PAY AND SHIFT TIMES: $21.50 per hour $1.00 Shift differential 3rd Shift – 10pm to 6am This full-time, hourly role is a part of our Quality team and reports to the Quality Manager.
