Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain well-groomed hair and personal hygiene as established by company policy.

Interact with guests coming in and as they leave, ensure a positive dining experience.

Answer phone calls and questions concerning the menu and restaurant.

Clean, organize, and stock menus at host area.

Accurately quote wait times and take reservations that align with company reservation policy.

Assist servers, bartenders, bussers, and managers when asked.

Maintain restroom and take out area as needed throughout shift.

Other projects and tasks may be delegated as needed.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

California Food Handlers card is required for all service employees who prepare, store, and serve food.

A willingness to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

High energy and strong verbal communication skills required.

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a sometimes-pressurized environment.

Must be able to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents.
