This is a generic QE profile — not tied to a specific industry — with deep experience setting up testing centers, leading large QA programs, and managing global testing delivery, along with current awareness of AI/ML and agentic AI developments in QE.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure every new engagement (post-RFP win) mobilizes to a green start — test strategy, staffing, tooling, and governance defined from day oneStep into existing accounts in the geography facing delivery issues and drive stabilization/turnaroundSet up and run testing centers/QA CoEs for large accounts — operating model, staffing pyramid, tooling, and governanceLead large-scale QA programs end-to-end across functional, automation, performance, and test data workstreamsManage global testing delivery — distributed teams, multiple time zones, and multi-vendor/onshore-offshore modelsIntroduce and scale the latest QE tooling, including AI/ML-based testing and agentic AI accelerators, into engagement setup and recovery plansEngage directly with senior client stakeholders during kick-off and account recovery situationsSkill RequirementsPrimary Skills (Must Have)Strong end-to-end test lifecycle expertise — strategy, functional, automation, performance, test data, DevOps integrationProven experience setting up and running testing centers/QA CoEs for large accountsTrack record leading large QA programs and managing global testing deliverySignificant customer-facing/onsite experience across the career (not mandatory going forward, but a strong track record)Working knowledge of the latest AI/ML and agentic AI developments as applied to QEStrong stakeholder management and executive-ready communicationSecondary SkillsExperience with delivery governance, SLAs/KPIs, and account health metricsMulti-industry, multi-geography delivery exposureExperience partnering with sales/practice teams on post-win mobilizationOther RequirementsNice to Have Exposure to proposal solutioning or presales handoffCertifications in test management, automation, or AI/GenAI toolingTrack record of publishing internal playbooks or best practicesMaximum Salary (US): 240000 Minimum Salary (US): 164000Why HCLTech?At HCLTech, you'll supercharge your potential. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
