Infusion Nurse - Part-Time
Location: Birmingham, AL
Job Type: Part-Time
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Caseload: Approximately 0-12 clients per 4-hour shift
Assess clients prior to IV therapy
Start and maintain IV access
Administer IV medications, fluids, and infusion treatments
Monitor clients throughout their infusions
Recognize and respond appropriately to infusion-related reactions
Active, unrestricted Alabama RN license
Minimum 5 years of nursing experience
At least 5 years of experience in a role requiring IV starts , such as:
Emergency Department
Pre-op/PACU
Infusion
Other comparable clinical settings
Strong IV insertion and venous access skills
Ability to work independently and provide excellent patient care
Strong communication and patient education skills
hourly pay + tips
Malpractice insurance
FIGS scrubs after 6 months
IV treatments at cost for the nurse and immediate/nuclear family
Supportive, laid-back work environment
