Inside Machinist

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Inside Machinists for projects located in the Green Cove Springs, FL area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $30-35/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Machine, repair, and fit components to proper specifications
• Repair ship and marine components including pumps, valves, bearings, and shafts
• Inspect finished work to ensure proper measurements and tolerances
• Follow all jobsite and shop safety procedures

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Manual Machinist
• Strong experience operating manual lathes and milling machines
• Ability to read and work from blueprints
• Proficient with micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Experience repairing pumps, valves, bearings, shafts, or similar mechanical components
• Marine or ship repair machining experience preferred
