This role is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen and refrigeration systems while delivering exceptional customer service. This position is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, minimizing customer downtime, and representing the company with professionalism. Key Responsibilities * Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, etc.) * Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe efficient equipment operations * Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system * Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers * Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked * Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner * Represent the company with professionalism while delivering high-quality customer service * Follow all safety regulations and company policies * Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities Qualifications * 3-5+ years of experience with the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment such as ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers, mixers, dishwashers, combi-ovens, holding cabinets, etc. * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills * Experience working on commercial kitchen equipment is a plus * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently * Excellent communication and customer service skills * Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in varying indoor / outdoor conditions * Ability to climb ladders, work from heights, and crawl in tight quarters * Own industry standard hand tools * Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation as needed * EPA Universal certification preferred Compensation Transparency The advertised pay range for this position is $40+ per hour . Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience level, technical certifications, skill set, and overall qualifications. Candidates with advanced expertise in both commercial hot-side and cold-side equipment may be considered toward the higher end of the range.
