Quick Facts: Location: Meridian, MS Start Date: 09/15/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing, as needed Shift: 24-hour call shifts (most on weekends, 7a-7a) Hours/week: Variable Employment Type: Contract/Per Diem License/Certs: MS medical license required Experience: Prior OB/GYN experience preferred Pay & Benefits: Competitive hourly rate of $1.00 (pay package discussed upon application) Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable What You’ll Do: Provide in-house OB/GYN and Emergency Department coverage as assigned Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies on-site Attend to approximately 5-6 ED patients daily Offer in-house call coverage with flexible scheduling Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure excellent patient care Stay prepared and responsive during call shifts What You Need: Valid Mississippi medical license OB/GYN board certification preferred Experience in OB/GYN emergency care preferred Strong patient management skills and teamwork mindset About the Assignment: This position offers in-house call and OB/GYN ED coverage at a reputable hospital in Meridian, MS. Shifts are scheduled on a flexible basis, mostly on weekends, with substantial notice provided ahead of assignments.
