Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16–10 bed Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Manage and monitor patients presenting with conditions including sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergency, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, Type 2 diabetes, substance abuse, and encephalopathy
• Administer and manage Heparin drips and other IV medications in accordance with facility protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans for a complex, high-acuity patient population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Progressive Care, Step Down, or IMCU environment
• Familiarity with managing Heparin drip protocols and high-acuity medical conditions
• Experience caring for patients with substance abuse or encephalopathy diagnoses
