Job Title: Warehouse Inventory Specialist Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Inventory Specialist to join our distribution team. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of material handling, inventory control, and distribution processes within our facility.

• Perform location-to-location moves and inventory adjustments.
• Assist in the cycle counting process as requested.
• Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors, or other handling equipment to move materials within the facility.
• Ensure ongoing inventory accuracy and notify relevant personnel of material control issues.
• Collaborate with Inventory Control and Leads during investigations of quality issues, inventory discrepancies, shipping complaints, and process improvements.
• Complete material transfers accurately and promptly as part of the distribution team.
• Transfer, transport, and stage materials timely and accurately while maintaining warehouse documentation.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the distribution department.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• 1-2 years of forklift operating experience.
• Proficiency in inventory and material handling.
• Experience in machine operating and visual inspection.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and RF scanners.

• Preferred: 2 years of experience pulling orders in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, or lifting in tight spaces.
• Capability to push and pull cases weighing between 200lbs to 800lbs repetitively.
• Regularly required to stand, use hands to handle objects, and communicate effectively.
• Frequently required to walk and reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to sit, stoop, or kneel.

The work environment is clean and organized in Plant 2, which is part of a series of locations. The role is based in a facility equipped with handling equipment and requires adherence to safety standards.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, VA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond,VA.
