Registered Nurse – Med Surg, Concord, NH. This travel assignment starts 07/20/2026 for 9 weeks in a high-acuity Med Surg/Respiratory Care Unit on 12-hour nights (2x3). Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients on a high-acuity unit with respiratory care needs.
- Monitor patient status, perform ongoing assessments, interpret vital signs and lab data, and escalate changes as needed.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and other standard nursing duties; manage lines and drains per orders.
- Deliver and coordinate respiratory therapies (oxygen titration, nebulizers, suctioning, incentive spirometry) as ordered.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record; communicate updates to the care team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers, and ancillary staff; participate in rounds and discharge planning; educate patients and families.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control; maintain room readiness and ensure regulatory compliance; provide patient and family education.
- May be asked to float to affiliated units within the network based on patient census and unit needs.

Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license at submission
- 2+ years of Med Surg and/or Telemetry experience
- BLS and ACLS certification required; NHISS must be obtained prior to start
- Dysrhythmia exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- NURSYS verification of RN licensure; ability to work in a hospital setting and, when needed, float to affiliated units
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel within the assignment and comply with shift requirements
