Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join a dynamic acute care team in Miami, FL. This role is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and supporting patients requiring invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled respiratory professional looking to work in a fast-paced hospital setting with a strong clinical team.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and document patient respiratory assessments, including:Breath soundsAirway patencyCuff pressureConduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for and response to respiratory therapyAdminister respiratory care therapies, including:Oxygen deliveryAerosol medication deliveryChest physiotherapyAssist with placement of artificial airwaysInitiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilationMonitor patient response to therapy and notify providers of any changes or unintended responsesAssist with transportation of ventilator-dependent patientsRespond to emergency patient situations and ensure airway integrity and adequate ventilation during resuscitationCollaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomesQualificationsAssociate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Respiratory CareRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) / Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) requiredBasic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start dateStrong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsIdeal CandidateThe ideal candidate is a motivated and clinically skilled Respiratory Therapist who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a collaborative hospital environment.Contact to: View phone number on click.appcast.io OR email to: View email address on click.appcast.io
