Senior Java Developer / Python AI Platform Engineer Location: Pasadena, CA Hybrid (3 Days Onsite) Key Responsibilities & Skills

14+ years of strong backend software development experience.
Expert in Java 17/21, Python, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems.
Build high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines using Apache Kafka.
Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.
Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
Develop AI-powered applications using LLMs, AI Agents, or Generative AI.
Experience with Databricks or cloud data platforms is a plus.
Strong understanding of unit/integration testing and SDLC.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Must be available to work 3 days/week from the Pasadena office.
