Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting serving a diverse patient population including infants, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols and Joint Commission standards
• Accurately document patient information and clinical interventions using Meditech EHR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe, high-quality, and cost-effective patient outcomes
• Respond to emergent and critical situations with appropriate clinical interventions
• Participate in facility orientation as scheduled on designated orientation days

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kentucky RN License or valid compact state RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Current PALS certification (required)
• Proficiency with Meditech EHR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for a broad patient population including pediatric and geriatric patients in an emergency care environment
• Familiarity with acute care hospital settings and Joint Commission accredited facilities
